At our organization, we are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for young people in their learning journey.

We seek enthusiastic Learning Support Officers to join our Inclusion and Diversity team.

The roles involve enhancing students' access to learning by providing direct or indirect support, working alongside teachers to implement teacher-designed adjustments, and contributing to a safe and empowering learning environment.

  • Numeracy intervention experience or knowledge is beneficial
  • Multilingual skills or lived experience from a culturally and linguistically diverse or refugee background would be an asset
  • Experience supporting students with diverse or complex learning needs is essential
  • A passion for inclusive education and student wellbeing is required

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Initiative and problem-solving abilities
  • An understanding of the challenges some students face in their education
  • A commitment to upholding the organization's values and child safety standards

You will also need:

  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable
  • Relevant Certificate III or equivalent experience is desirable

This role is classified as ESS Level 2 according to the relevant agreement.
