Job Description

We're seeking a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst to provide high-quality analysis and insights, build and review financial models, gather and process information, prepare presentations, and project support to contribute to the delivery of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support and conduct qualitative and quantitative research;
  • Design and build financial models to assist with business valuations, planning, and scenario analysis;
  • Establish benchmarks and measure projects against these benchmarks;
  • Conduct in-depth financial due diligence;
  • Prepare reports, including due diligence reports and internal documentation;
  • Support the development of business cases;
  • Manage time to deliver on and contribute to work priorities that support project delivery;
  • Evaluate whether separate initiatives align with centralised corporate strategy;
  • Provide high-quality, detailed objective analysis and advice within specified timeframes;
  • Develop knowledge of various workstreams and work flexibly across priorities as required;
  • Assist with development of financial forecasts and scenarios for Viva Energy business units;
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are achieved through collaboration and alignment with business expectations.

Requirements

  • Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong data analysis skills and financial literacy;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Power BI;
  • High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Highly organised;
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, finance, or related discipline;
  • 7+ years' experience in Corporate Finance;
  • Financial analysis;
  • Financial, economic, or strategic modelling;
  • Market and data research.
