Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAD professional to join our Rail team in Brisbane. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality drawing and model deliverables for major infrastructure projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Autonomous preparation of high-quality drawing and model deliverables for major infrastructure projects
  • Collaboration with engineers and design specialists to ensure drawing production meets project requirements
  • Maintenance of personal workload and forecasting time to complete tasks
  • Compliance with documentation standards and quality systems relevant to client and discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to manage varying workloads and adapt to changing project demands

About the Role

  • CAD professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience - rail or infrastructure experience ideal
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (or equivalent qualification) is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality design drawings for civil engineering and transport projects, to local standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Microstation software:
    • Working knowledge of Drawing Management systems
    • Experience in various project phases including tender design, detailed design, and as-built drawing production
    • Ability to manage drafting processes, including the supervision of others
