Financial Accounting RoleJob Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team and provide high-quality general accounting services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of financial and management account reports, journal processing, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax support.

They will also assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, BAS, tax, and FBT, as well as providing insight through analysis to assist the leadership team in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial and management account reports
  • Process journals and perform month-end close
  • Reconcile balance sheets and investigate issues
  • Provide tax support and prepare statutory accounts
  • Assist with internal and external audits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a similar financial accounting role
  • CA/CPA qualification or near qualification
  • High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
