Mental Health Professionals are required for Townsville, Mount Isa or Cairns
About the Role
This position involves delivering high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services within various communities across Northern Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services to a diverse range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, people with drug and alcohol issues.
Engage in engagement and educational activities within the community to promote mental health and wellbeing.
Develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, staff and the community at large through effective communication and negotiation skills.
Travel to various culturally diverse communities across the Northern Queensland regions to provide services as needed.
As a Mental Health Professional, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and work collaboratively with a broad range of clients and communities.
Working Arrangements
This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your lifestyle. This position can also be Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) out of Townsville or Cairns, with telehealth option on your off week, for full-time employees.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess high-level communication and negotiation skills, as well as be culturally sensitive and adaptable. You will also need to be able to work both independently and autonomously, as well as collaborate effectively with others.
