Job Overview

The Project Systems Officer role focuses on driving business efficiencies and process improvements through project administration, review, and auditing within Council's software systems.

This position requires close collaboration with the Contracts and Projects Coordinator to deliver strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage projects within Council's software systems to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and efficient tracking.
  • Support the planning and delivery of capital works and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with relevant staff members to maintain effective communication channels.
  • Contribute to the development of risk management plans to mitigate risks to Council and stakeholders.
  • Design and implement procedures, performance reports, and user dashboards to enhance project planning and delivery.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for concept and detailed construction programs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Candidates should have experience in reviewing, checking, and auditing data with attention to detail, developing and testing relevant reports, managing projects and budgets, and contract management.
