Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to manage their accounting and finance team's accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable function, developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency within the department.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management, utilizing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes, enhancing overall efficiency and driving business growth.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with experience in managing and reconciling large datasets.
- Previous experience managing a team in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the industry, with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency.
