A senior accountant is needed to oversee the management of a Private Accounting and Tax team. This role involves controlling and running assigned engagements, ensuring the successful completion of concurrent assignments by utilizing technical competence and required resources. Attending to overall client engagements including accounting and tax compliance services to a portfolio of the firm's private tax clients is also a key responsibility. Additionally, providing periodic management and tailored financial reports for many of our high net wealth family client groups is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm or family office organisation. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and be CA/CPA qualified. Proficient accounting skills and strong knowledge of Xero accounting software are also necessary. Proven private tax experience with relevant technical knowledge is a must. Clear and articulate communication skills, demonstrated organisational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail are all required. Excellent staff management and development skills are also necessary.
