This position plays a crucial part in the Audio Visual Communications Technology Services within Victoria's court network. The team leader is responsible for guiding a skilled team that supports the core technology powering courtrooms across the state.

About the Job

This role operates within the AVC Technology Services unit and provides team leadership to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and flexible support services, information, and training to court staff. Effective service delivery is achieved by this role through people leadership capability, an understanding of the operating environment, needs of Victorian courts and tribunals, and of court users, and expertise in video conferencing technology and audio/visual systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of AVCT support professionals, ensuring timely service and support are provided to stakeholders.
  • Oversight and coordination of daily operations of the AVCT support technicians to ensure consistent service delivery and workload management.
  • Supporting the professional development of team members, ensuring alignment with required development outcomes in staff performance and development plans.
  • Fostering collaborative work practices between team members to maximize individual skills and learning and development of new skills.
  • Delivering high-level complaints investigation and resolution services specifically in relation to transcript production infrastructure, audio visual systems, and facilities, meeting agreed service levels, priorities, and standards.
  • Using specialist expertise to anticipate, investigate, and resolve problems in systems and services, documenting issues within relevant reporting systems.
