About the Role

Service Stream's Telecommunications division is seeking a Full Time Compliance Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Resource Optimization and Compliance Team to ensure the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing compliance of companies and subcontractors.
  • Process changes to compliance requirements and ensure all roles are aligned with Australian Industry standards.
  • Attend daily operational stand-ups to drive prioritization, minimize operational delivery risk, and mitigate escalations.
  • Communicate with operational and development teams to ensure compliance data is accurate and meets operational needs.
  • Ensure SLAs for onboarding and compliance are met.
  • Deliver client-based reporting on time.
  • Attend required training on applications.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal, client, and external field teams.
  • Ensure all communication is professional and up-to-date.
  • Assist the Resource Optimization and Compliance Team in procurement activities.
  • Conduct business to the highest standard and in line with Service Stream's Core Values.
About You
  • Manage subcontractor details, accreditations, insurances, inductions, and OH&S records.
  • Validate documentation and maintain sub-contractor files.
  • Follow up on outstanding documentary evidence with sub-contractors.
  • Enter and maintain the accuracy of systems and databases.
  • Prepare professional correspondence.
  • Escalate non-compliance to appropriate levels.
  • Assist with audits of systems and related files.
  • Ensure subcontractor records are current and systems are updated with compliance requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating training for staff and sub-contractors.
  • Maintain reporting systems for timeliness and accuracy of contractor information.
