Position Summary: We are currently seeking a proficient and adaptable Building Designer to oversee projects from initial concept through to completion. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic environment, guided by a respected Director who values initiative and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients to gather project requirements and manage expectations.
  • Develop concept and development application plans.
  • Oversee project management and produce detailed design documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate with consulting engineers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure quality control of both internal and external documentation.
  • Manage tender processes, contract administration, and superintendency.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and council requirements.
  • Adapt to varying project needs and challenges.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess formal qualifications in Architecture and/or Building Design, along with substantial experience in managing design documentation and project delivery, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.

Ideal Candidate: The successful applicant will be a natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve optimal project outcomes. Proficiency in REVIT is essential, and architectural registration is highly regarded.
