Immerse yourself in the world of animation and help shape the future of character animation and storytelling as a Release Manager.

About this role:

  • Develop and implement a release management process that ensures seamless deployment of pipeline code;
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely delivery of updates based on project plans;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all release criteria are met, including functionality and performance
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring issues are addressed proactively and do not impact release times;
  • Oversee post-release activities to gather feedback from stakeholders, facilitating continuous improvements;
  • Monitor and maintain deployment environments, ensuring compatibility with upcoming releases;
  • Document and disperse release notes to stakeholders;
  • Act as the primary point of contact during release activities, coordinating efforts to resolve issues where needed

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in release management or a related role within software development or IT operations;
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile practices;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with version control systems, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and release automation technologies;
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess release performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise;
  • Proficiency in risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure seamless release;
  • Experience with environment management software Jenkins, Git, and Rez
  • Background in animated feature films, TV series, and VFX production
  • Scripting or programming language proficiency (e.g., Python) to support automation and troubleshooting during releases
