Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Centre Cook to join our team at Goodstart Early Learning.

Job Description:

About the Role: As a Centre Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and healthy meals for our children. You will work closely with our Centre Director to plan menus and order food supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Hygiene: Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Menu Planning and Ordering: Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Food Safety: Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
  • Work Schedule: Work a part-time roster of 25 hours per week, with no night shifts, no split shifts and no weekend work.

Requirements:
