As a skilled Construction Lawyer, you will play a key role in our team's success.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented mid-level Construction & Infrastructure lawyer to join our growing team of experts.

You will work closely with an energetic and high-performing team of lawyers across a broad range of construction, infrastructure and commercial matters.

Our clients include small, medium and enterprise-level businesses, and we focus on providing efficient, cost-effective and quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of construction contracts including Australian Standards (construct only and design and construct), Residential Building Contracts (all States and Territories), Consultancy Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, and ECI Agreements.
  • Providing expert advice on contract procurement strategies.
  • Assisting with contractual claims and interpretation.
  • Advising clients on regulatory compliance matters such as security of payment claims, DBP Act and RAB Act compliance, and residential and commercial building industry licensing requirements (all States and Territories).

Contributing to the growth of our business through the delivery of articles, external webinars, and internal 'training sessions'.

Working closely with your Practice Leaders, helping to train graduates, and being part of a fun, motivated and supportive team.
