About the Role
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to help us in our new growth phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing new and long-standing customer relationships, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and driving customer service delivery.
- Reviewing project specifications and drawings, determining customers' application requirements, and preparing quotations.
- Preparing job summary sheets for project management and production teams.
- Working closely with the sales manager and project managers, including internal departmental personnel, providing product support and technical information as necessary.
- Offering infield product solutions and support within building services and construction environments.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by managers.
Key Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A successful sales career with a proven track record of goal achievement within a technical product sales environment, preferably in the pump industry.
- Qualifications in the field of engineering, sales, or marketing, or sound mechanical aptitude, knowledge of pumps and pumping systems.
- A strong focus on business acumen and key account management skills that will allow you to provide value to your customers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and accomplished communication.
- Excellent computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A valid and full driving license.
- Construction Induction White Card an advantage.
