About the Role
As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will be part of an organisation that prioritises the well-being and independence of older adults in their own homes.
We are seeking experienced individuals who share our commitment to delivering high-quality care services that enable our customers to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing domestic assistance to help maintain a safe and clean living environment
- Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to ensure nutritional needs are met
- Offering social support and access to lifestyle activities to promote emotional wellbeing
- Providing personal care, including medication management and assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing respite and emotional support to alleviate caregiver burden
- Transporting customers to appointments and engaging in social activities to foster connections
- Delivering complex care for customers with high-care needs, such as dementia
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle (travel is part of the role)
- The ability to remain patient and composed when dealing with challenging situations
- Flexibility to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts
- A willingness to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems while seeking guidance from your Manager when needed
