We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Ozcare in Brisbane North. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.
  • Patient Support: Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, and medication management, ensuring the highest level of comfort and dignity.
  • Health Promotion: Encourage clients to maintain their physical and mental well-being by promoting healthy habits and providing education on disease prevention and management.
  • Communication: Maintain open and empathetic communication with clients, their families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination and effective problem-solving.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a care-related field or a Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Current Police Screening Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) required.
