Warehouse Operations Lead

The Warehouse Operations Lead will oversee a dynamic and growing warehouse operations team, driving safe and efficient distribution activities while ensuring people and equipment are utilized efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Lead safe and efficient warehouse operations in accordance with OH&S and best practices.
  • Drive proactive planning, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory to maximize warehouse capacity and utilization.
  • Maintain high service levels and respond promptly to customer issues to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, labor usage, performance gaps, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in Warehouse and Distribution Management - essential.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG sector - highly desirable.
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of OHS and best practice requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as SAP, WMS, and TMS - highly regarded.
  • Passion for bringing out the best in team members and providing pathways for growth.
  • High level of organizational and time management demonstrating an ability to meet timelines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to proactively problem-solve with a solution-focused approach.
