Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, including the checking of timesheet data, running of reports, and reconciliation of payroll results. The role will also involve responding to general payroll queries from employees and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and verify timesheet data within our rostering system (Time Target)
- Run fortnightly reports and reconcile payroll results
- Respond to general payroll queries from employees via our online email ticketing system
- Provide excellent customer service and support to employees
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Requirements
- Several years of experience in a standalone payroll role, with full function knowledge and preferably within the health industry
- Experience using the Chris21 Payroll System
- Experience using a time and attendance system such as Time Target
- Excellent knowledge of payroll activities, including calculating leave entitlements, superannuation, taxation, and salary packaging
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills when dealing with high volumes of timesheet data entry
- Extensive clerical experience in a service-oriented environment
- Great customer service skills
