Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee that all shipments are collected and delivered within specified timeframes.
- Communicate any delays or changes to customers promptly.
- Ensure compliance with load restraint regulations and all relevant operational responsibilities.
- Monitor driver performance and maintain accurate records of pallet exchanges and transfers daily to ensure operational precision.
- Collaborate closely with client personnel to enhance efficiencies, achieve KPIs, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Mediate conflicts between clients and team members, utilizing negotiation and conflict resolution skills to foster effective solutions and uphold professional relationships.
Candidate Profile: What We Seek in a Fleet Operations Supervisor
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role, with transferable skills from positions such as On-Site Representative or Allocator.
- Proficient analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel for performance data analysis, report generation, and operational enhancement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional delegation abilities and clear, concise communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous improvement with a keen eye for detail.
Work Schedule: Standard hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with occasional flexibility required.
