About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to work collaboratively with our Clinical Care Manager to set clinical standards that reflect best practice. You will assist in improving the skills and knowledge of clinical and direct care employees through leadership and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing skills to supervise and support clinical and direct care employees
  • Assist in setting clinical standards that reflect best practice
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs to improve staff skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills to ensure ability to use Ozcare's Client Management and clinical systems
  • Sound clinical knowledge
  • Good computer & mobile device skills
  • The ability to work across a varied roster and shifts including night and weekend shifts
