Seeking a seasoned Lead Industrial Designer to spearhead product development from initial concepts through final production.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product vision and strategy, as well as proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
A bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design is required, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience. A strong portfolio showcasing consumer product design skills and modern design sensibilities is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the design process for innovative products, working closely with global suppliers to ensure seamless production processes.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences, informing product strategies that meet business objectives.
- Travel internationally to evaluate products, collaborate with teams, and inspire new ideas, upholding the company's commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in every design.
- Expertise in designing complex consumer products, either in-house or at an agency.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Enthusiasm for international travel as part of the design and testing process.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software and hand sketching skills to convey ideas quickly.
