We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fish Cutter to join our seafood processing team.

Fresh Meats is expanding its Seafood department and we need all knife hands on deck. We are a drug-free employer looking for seafood team members who want to grow with our business.

Hours are:

Tuesday-Saturday

9am-6pm.

As a Fish Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of seafood products for our customers.

Serving Customers

Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately cut a variety of fish, adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Cut a variety of fish species according to company standards and customer requirements.

Use sharp knives and other cutting tools to remove bones, skin, and other unwanted parts from the fish.

Ensure precision and accuracy in cutting to minimize waste and maximize yield.

Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met.

Monitor and inspect fish for quality, freshness, and any signs of spoilage.

Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Fish Cutter or in a similar seafood processing role is highly desirable.

Excellent knife handling skills and the ability to cut fish accurately and efficiently.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling of seafood products.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures and follow instructions from supervisors.
