The Role:

  • Deliver improvements to the operational robustness and profitability of our trading platform
  • Contribute to mission-critical projects involving trading, pricing, positions and risk, analytics and market connectivity
  • Work flexibly with a focus on real-time issues and long-term projects
  • Performance tuning to maximize throughput and minimize latency
  • Ongoing consultation with the trading team to understand how technology can best satisfy their needs

What we look for:

  • Core Java expertise
  • Development experience in C++ or C#
  • A scripting language, preferably Python
  • Experience working in High Frequency Trading firms
  • Experience working in Windows and Linux environments
  • Understanding of network protocols
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine interest in financial markets
  • A strong academic record in computer science
