Software Development Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. This role will involve developing software systems using various technologies and working collaboratively with other engineers to build innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience in software development, a fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle, and knowledge of secure coding practices. They will also be able to work flexibly and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B uild software systems using .NET Core, C#, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Azure cloud resources, and REST APIs
  • Develop integrations between core systems, including SalesForce and Workday
  • Administer API Documentation Libraries using Swagger/OpenAPI (Swashbuckle)
  • Work with a Scrum team to deliver work and identify and plan technical debt
  • Solve defects within the operational software baseline and ensure quality is maintained through techniques like static analysis scanning, unit testing, logging, proactive alerting, and monitoring
  • Deliver documented results of improving the operating efficiency and security posture of the software development life cycle environment
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand their needs and identify areas of opportunity

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Understanding of secure coding practices based on OWASP standards
  • Experience with Microsoft C#/.NET
  • Experience building and consuming REST Web Services
  • Experience working with code versioning, GIT preferred
  • Experience with developing applications using Angular
  • Understanding and know-how to apply agile principles, practices, and patterns
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts
