Key Responsibilities
Our receptionist is the main point of contact for patients and represents our clinic's welcoming atmosphere.
- Assisting patients with completing necessary documentation and forms
- Creating and presenting treatment plans to patients and healthcare practitioners
- Scheduling appointments and ensuring timely arrival
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Processing billing and payments using medical software
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies
- Ensuring confidentiality and maintaining patient information security
- Dictation and sending doctor letters
Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in medical reception or a similar administrative role (minimum 2 years)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT proficiency, including working knowledge of Windows-based software systems and web-based medical software
- Understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Driver's license for occasional travel to cover sick or annual leave
