We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and hands-on Diesel Mechanic Team Supervisor to join our team in Wodonga.

About the Role

This pivotal position involves leading, coaching, and developing a designated team of Diesel Technicians in the workshop.

Your key objective will be to ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved and our customers enjoy a positive experience every time they interact with us.

You will report directly to the Service Supervisor and be responsible for:

  • Supervising the workmanship and performance of assigned Diesel Technicians
  • Striving to consistently meet service labor targets with repair and maintenance work
  • Fostering a safe working environment focused on continuous improvement
  • Effectively managing and monitoring all work in progress to meet company benchmarks
  • Serving as a leader by example and promoting our core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, and Commitment

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A qualified Mobile Plant Diesel Mechanic certification
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a similar role
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to effectively liaise with customers, peers, coworkers, and management at various levels
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
