Business Development Manager Role

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of business clients, providing them with tailored solutions to meet their financial needs.

  • Your primary focus will be on building trust and understanding the needs of your clients, identifying opportunities to grow their businesses and develop new revenue streams.

In this role, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders including product specialists, analysts, and other relationship executives to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. Your expertise in financial analysis, credit risk management, and business development will enable you to identify and pursue new business opportunities, drive growth and expand our client base.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing business strategies to achieve sales targets and exceed client expectations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders, establishing trust and credibility through exceptional service and advice.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs, leveraging expertise from various areas of the bank.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, using market intelligence and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Conducting financial analysis and due diligence to ensure sound credit decisions and optimal risk management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, relationship management, and financial services, with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. They will also possess a keen understanding of the Australian business landscape, with knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
