Job Opportunity: Diesel Mechanic

About the Position:

We are currently seeking skilled diesel mechanics to join our maintenance team across various sites in the Bowen Basin. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced trade professionals to bring their expertise into a strong, safety-focused team within the mining industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.
  • Diagnostics and repair of mechanical faults, replacement or repair of faulty components as required.
  • Engagement in safety processes, including hazard identification, risk assessments, and job safety analyses.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Diesel Fitting) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Valid health assessment and standard 11 certification.
  • Proven experience with heavy machinery equipment.
  • A strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
  • Solid technical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
