Dedicated Urgent Care Nurse Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced urgent care environment.
The Role- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of patients presenting to the urgent care service, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Triage patients promptly, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver front-line care in collaboration with medical practitioners.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the urgent care environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands effectively.
- Provide person-centered care activities relating to patients' injuries or illnesses, working collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
- Ensure patients receive timely and effective interventions, including health education and support as required.
- Complete all documentation promptly and accurately, maintaining clear and concise records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in triage in an emergency department, preferably 1 year minimum, with a strong understanding of emergency nursing principles and practices.
- 3 years' experience as an RN preferred, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Ability to assess and recognize health deterioration, escalating appropriately to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Capacity to work autonomously and delegate tasks effectively, while maintaining a collaborative and respectful approach to teamwork.
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care, with a personable and empathetic approach to patient interactions.
