Animal Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with previous experience in a customer service role.
About the Position- Provide accurate and timely customer service and advice regarding animal care.
- Coordinate the adoption and surrender process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Ensure that all animals received are tagged or otherwise appropriately identified.
- Perform administration duties, including daily banking and responding to customer inquiries via phone or email.
- Clean animal enclosures and administer medications when required.
- Coordinate impounding services and complete all necessary documentation.
- Prior experience working for a non-profit organisation is desirable.
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills are essential.
- The ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments is crucial.
- A Certificate II in Animal Studies and/or other formal training in animal behaviour is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in animal handling is necessary.
