Lead Educator Opportunity

At our educational institution, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide and mentor a team of educators, shaping the minds of young children and making a real impact in their daily lives.

We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and are dedicated to delivering contemporary educational practices that enrich the child's holistic development. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for role modeling, coaching, mentoring, and critically reflecting with your team to deliver curricula and environments that foster learning and growth.

About Our Service
  • Our service is a two-storey, 84-place facility catering for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 6 rooms and 4 outdoor play areas.
  • Our management team is strong and supportive, offering guidance and career growth opportunities.
  • The service is conveniently located near tram stops, making it easy to commute.
  • Our Story Park platform allows for effective communication with families about their child's development and encourages active participation.
  • Our operating hours are 6:30am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

About You
  • To be successful in this role, you must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience as a Lead Educator or Educational Leader in childcare is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support and guide a team are necessary.
  • A valid Working with Children Check and current First Aid Certificate are also required.
  • Availability to open and close as required is expected.
  • Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and excellent communication skills are key assets.
