About Energy Resources Licensing Roles

This role is focused on leading the development and implementation of legislation, policies, and programs governing licensing and land access in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure effective regulation of upstream energy resources.
  • Providing authoritative advice to government on energy resource matters.
  • Engaging with industry stakeholders to promote innovation and compliance across the sector.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, expertise in upstream energy resource legislation, and a strategic mindset.

A high-performing team of five reports to this position, providing support for critical legislative reform and stakeholder engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in regulatory, compliance or legal services, preferably within government or the energy/resources sector.
