We are seeking a Clinical Facilitator to provide support and mentorship to students in the School of Physiotherapy. As a Clinical Facilitator, you will act as a university representative, supervising students on clinical placements and providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor students on clinical placements, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Identify students who may be at risk and work with the clinical education team and site supervisors to provide support and strategies to help them succeed.
- Provide verbal and written feedback to students on their performance, helping them to identify areas for improvement and develop their skills.
- Complete relevant professional development and supervision training through the university.
- Attend meetings as required by the Director of Clinical Education.
- Other duties as identified by the Director of Clinical Education.
- Qualified to at least an undergraduate level and registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
- Significant relevant clinical experience.
- Experience in supervising students or relevant post-graduate studies.
- Knowledge and understanding of current scholarship and professional practice in physiotherapy.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures.
