Procurement Category Manager

Randstad's procurement specialist Hayley Wilson is seeking an experienced ICT Category Manager to oversee, manage and administer large-scale projects. This organisation is supported by a growing team of experienced procurement and category managers offering support and collaboration to drive impactful results in an organisation known for innovation.
Your new role will involve:
- Developing and implementing effective supplier mobilisation and demobilisation strategies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to formulate forward-thinking strategies, including category management plans and supplier consolidation initiatives.
- Leading key negotiations and executing procurement contractual agreements to drive business value.
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders to drive collaborative results.
- Providing high-level problem-solving skills to drive project success.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in category management and/or procurement roles across various processes and functions.
- Tertiary qualifications (in conjunction with relevant experience) in commercial, law, construction, ITC, or similar will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
- Full working rights in Perth, Western Australia.
