Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Assurance team as a laboratory technician. This exciting opportunity will enable you to further develop your skills and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful applicant will be responsible for operating various analytical instruments and test equipment used for materials characterization, preparation and testing of products in line with defined Inspection & Test Plans, and reporting analytical results in an organized and timely fashion. You will also be required to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as intermediate computer and mathematical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a variety of analytical instruments and test equipment used for materials characterization.
  2. Prepare and test products in line with defined Inspection & Test Plans.
  3. Report analytical results in an organized and timely fashion.
  4. Exhibit effective cooperation and communication skills to effectively work within a team environment.
  5. Perform manual handling and various mechanical, chemical, and structural tasks.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate 3 in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Excellent time management skills and a high level of sense of urgency.
  • Understanding of ISO9001.
  • Ability to learn and run operations as required.
