Market Planner Role Overview

The Market Planner is a critical role that involves applying statistical forecasting tools to capture customer demand and market intelligence.

  • Accurately forecast demand using Logility Planning system.
  • Maintain alignment between demand forecasts and corporate budgetary targets through regular Forecast Alignment meetings.
  • Perform custodial functions within the forecasting process.
  • Provide feedback to the Planning Director and business stakeholders on process adherence and development needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply statistical forecasting tool to capture customer demand and market intelligence.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date forecast within Logility Planning system.
  • Own primary and secondary parameters within Logility for both demand and inventory functions at national level.
  • Work with Marketing and Customer Team to maintain alignment between demand forecasts and corporate budgetary targets.
  • Lead collaborative efforts within Supply Chain.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in planning (demand and supply) within FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, and planning skills.
  • High ownership and attention to detail.
  • Disciplined & methodical with ability to work to fast pace and tight deadlines in peak periods.
