Senior Traffic Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team at John Holland, working on the Melton project in Australia.
As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will provide on-site traffic engineering services and technical support to ensure the planning, implementation, and maintenance of traffic management are carried out according to specified guidelines.
Your key responsibilities will include developing strategies for traffic management, collaborating with engineers and managers to identify traffic management needs, providing technical guidance to project staff, reviewing traffic and transport matters, and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also supervise and review the work of our traffic contractors and engineers, ensuring site works conform to approved designs and road safety plans, and reporting on traffic engineering performance, compliance, and non-conformance.
Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Construction, or a related field, with more than 5 years of experience in traffic engineering, knowledge of traffic management plans, specifications, and standards, and more than 2 years of experience in civil/infrastructure/rail construction.
You will also need to be proficient in document and record management, progress and project performance reporting, and compliance procedures, and have a passion for developing your career with John Holland and being mentored by industry experts.
