As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist at Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Print on Demand facilities. This is a full-time hourly position with a competitive estimated salary of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per year.

About the Role

The primary focus of this role is to conduct planned preventative maintenance on various equipment across the site. You will be responsible for adhering to safety regulations and best practices, as well as providing high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of industrial equipment.
  • Prioritize health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancements and submitting feedback and suggestions through your line manager.
  • Support senior colleagues in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
A Day in the Life

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will work closely with our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team to ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will include carrying out routine maintenance checks, investigating equipment malfunctions, and implementing solutions to prevent future issues.

Requirements
  • F3 trade qualification in Electrotechnology or Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner)
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, and other industrial equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
