Job Description

The Food Technologist Specialist will provide expert technical advice on food technology, packaging, processing, and preservation solutions. They will work closely with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and conduct product trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and optimize MULTIVAC equipment for various applications.
  • Manage technical projects from concept to installation, including stakeholder coordination and documentation.
  • Support the sales team by developing solutions and conducting product trials.
  • Prepare and respond to tenders, including interpreting requirements and drafting responses.
  • Design equipment and line configurations using CAD and other performance tools.
  • Conduct machine, packaging, and shelf-life trials to validate applications and recommend improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers to deliver aligned solutions.
  • Transfer knowledge and best practices across regions to support innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate technical developments and requirements with engineers, management, and suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Specialist experience within a technically related role is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
