Senior Ground Segment Systems Specialist

About the Position

The activities are supported by the technology consulting team of Euroconsult and cover the following domains:

  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough analyses to determine the viability of proposed ground segment systems and teleports.
  • Procurement: Assist in the acquisition of necessary equipment and services for ground segment systems and teleports.
  • Design: Collaborate with the technology consulting team to design and develop ground segment systems and teleports that meet the needs of Euroconsult and its clients.
  • Integration and Testing: Ensure seamless integration and testing of ground segment systems and teleports to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operations: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ground segment systems and teleports to ensure they continue to meet the needs of Euroconsult and its clients.
  • Evaluation and Auditing: Conduct regular evaluations and audits to ensure ground segment systems and teleports are operating within established standards and best practices.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that Euroconsult staff and clients have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain ground segment systems and teleports.

Qualifications & Experience Required

10-year experience in ground segment systems and or teleports, covering several of the following topics:

  • Terminals and Earth Stations: Antennas (radio-frequency, link budgets, mechanical, civil works)
  • Baseband Units and Hubs
  • Frequency Regulatory Aspects
  • Teleports Infrastructures & Operations

Language Skills

Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment; ability to work independently; a team player; respect of corporate values; high commitment; ability to deliver high-quality results to the company and clients.
