We are seeking experienced and adaptable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Workers. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our aged care clients residing in Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Administer medications
- Perform domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist clients between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Engage in community activities, such as attending doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice
About You:
- You must be able to work flexible hours on a roster system
- You should be looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build a rapport with your aged care clients
- You are a great communicator and dedicated to providing the best service for every person
- You are a calm and confident individual who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment
- You hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care, which is highly desirable
- You can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
- You believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage
- You hold an Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance
- You have the capacity to travel to clients' homes

- Minimum Casual hourly rate starting at $32.62/hr at Level 1.1

Requirements:
- You must have current First Aid and CPR certificates
- You must have a Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- You must have an NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- You must commit to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed
- You must have an Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance
- You must have your own vehicle to attend shifts
