Role Overview
Feros Care is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the well-being of aged Australians. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and drive innovation in our products.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take ownership of our product development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and priorities;
- Leverage Agile methodologies to manage product development, ensuring timely delivery of business value;
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, working closely with technical teams to identify and prioritize features;
- Ensure alignment with Feros Care's strategic objectives, maintaining a customer-centric focus throughout the product development lifecycle;
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including developers, designers, and testers, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration;
- Maintain accurate records of product development progress, using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field;
- Proven experience in product management, preferably within the healthcare or social care sector;
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and their application in product development;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders;
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a commitment to achieving results in a fast-paced environment;
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions;
- Certification/accreditation in formal modelling techniques, such as BPMN2.0;
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes and solutions;
- A deep understanding of the funding mechanisms, work practices, and regulations governing the aged care industry;
- A passion for improving the well-being of aged Australians and a commitment to delivering exceptional services that make a positive impact on their lives.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration package for this role includes a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including:
