Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Assistant to join our team in Pakenham, Melbourne, Australia. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation of rotational moulding machinery, using hand and power tools, trimming/testing, and quality checking products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation of rotational moulding machinery
  • Use hand and power tools to perform tasks
  • Trim and test products
  • Conduct quality checks on products
  • Work in a team environment to achieve production goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience with rotational moulding or trades backgrounds preferred
  • Ability to work unsupervised or with a team
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday on an ongoing basis
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 20kgs
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Flexible nature and positive attitude
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions
  • Basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or table form
What We Offer

Ongoing casual roles with an opportunity for full-time work for the right candidates. Generally 38 hours per week Monday – Friday with daily overtime offered when available. Day shifts available for immediate starts 7am – 3pm.

A competitive hourly rate of AU$32 - AU$33 per hour.
