Key Responsibilities
  • Develop National Category Management Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive national category management strategy to optimize procurement economies and ensure a competitive advantage over competitors.
  • Strategic Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain direct supplier relationships to secure products at competitive prices and support successful product launches with creative marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Marketing and Sales Collaboration: Develop marketing plans for new and existing products and collaborate with Sales Managers to implement these plans across the retail network.
  • Company Policy and Initiatives: Implement company policy and initiatives by communicating and contextualizing information from the leadership team.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Solid track record of working in consumer goods trade marketing, category management, or national account management.
  • Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills, strong computer skills in spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software, demonstrated competencies in collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
  • Sales Management Experience: Sales management experience dealing with customers at senior level.
  • Interpersonal and Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
