About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our efforts in deploying and maintaining a strategic risk management platform for FICC trading. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong technical leadership, communication skills, and experience working with global teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the deployment and maintenance of the FICC Risk Platform, ensuring it meets business requirements and remains resilient in high-pressure environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow professionally and personally.
  • Foster collaboration between global teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding of business needs.
  • Engage stakeholders throughout the SDLC, ensuring projects meet expectations and deliver value.
  • Influence architecture choices, driving the adoption of modern platforms and technologies.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional Java Development experience, with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, DevOps, and Continuous Deployment practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores, message-oriented middleware, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks and technologies, such as Akka or Vertx.
  • Experience in SRE, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.
