Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide expert occupational rehabilitation services.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement rehabilitation plans, and provide ongoing support to clients to achieve optimal return-to-work outcomes.

You will also have the opportunity to work with our innovative Re-thinking Recovery program, which utilizes virtual reality and modern pain science to help clients understand and manage their pain.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop rehabilitation plans for clients
  • Provide ongoing support and education to clients and employers
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Deliver the Re-thinking Recovery program and other virtual reality-based interventions
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
  • Registration with ESSA and SIRA Accreditation
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to client-centered care
