Census Engagement Manager, Homelessness
Key Job Responsibilities- Plan and manage engagement activities for people experiencing homelessness in a specific region.
- Recruit, train and supervise a team of field and engagement staff to promote the Census and engage with local communities.
- Conduct outreach and engage with key stakeholders to ensure accurate representation of the homeless population in the Census.
- Provide support for Census assisted completion activities and gather support from community organisations and service providers.
- Experience in planning, managing and undertaking engagement activities for the homelessness sector.
- Strong connections across the homelessness sector and ability to leverage those relationships in the promotion of the Census.
- Ability to present information to groups of people through public speaking engagement.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited guidance.
- Demonstrated sound local area knowledge.
