Job Title: Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Wales Bus and Body Repairs, a renowned brand in the heavy vehicle smash repair industry. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for creating accurate estimates of damaged heavy vehicles using IBodyshop, consulting and updating customers on the progress of their claim and repairs status, and utilizing Electronic Part Catalogues for manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and work providers.
  • Accurately quoting vehicles in a timely manner and in accordance with average repair cost targets and insurer/company procedures.
  • Completing quotes as required onsite, off-site, and online.
  • Processing vehicles onsite by carrying out vehicle arrival inspections, including mapping and imaging.
  • Managing parts for repairs to ensure timely arrival and cost effectiveness as required.
  • Managing suppliers to ensure additional work is recorded and authorized in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
  • Handing over completed repairs to customers.
