Transportation Operator Position
\OzTrans Solutions is seeking a seasoned transportation operator to fill an opening in the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating vehicles and equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
\The key responsibilities of this role include:
\- Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all relevant regulations
- Conducting pre-and post-start checks, as well as completing all necessary documentation
- Possessing a valid heavy vehicle driver's license
- Demonstrating good mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude towards the transport industry
- Being willing to work early shifts and occasional long hours
As a transportation operator, you will be committed to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to 100% Chain of Responsibility compliance standards. You will also be required to undergo regular pre-employment checks, including medical assessments, driving history checks, reference checks, and verification of qualifications and licenses.
\Key Requirements:
\- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
